October 22-26, 2018

Please join the Mount Tabor Student Council as we do our part to encourage young people to live healthy, safe, drug-free lives.  October 22nd through October 26th we will celebrate Red Ribbon Week.  We encourage participation in our daily activities as listed below.

Monday, October 22- “Drug Free America” Wear red, white, and blue.

Tuesday, October 23- “Stay in the Game- Be Drug Free” Wear your favorite team jersey.

Wednesday, October 24- “Drug Free Round Up” Wear your favorite jeans.

Thursday, October 25- “Keep Drugs Out of Your Circle of Friends” Dress the same as your friend.

Friday, October 26- “Walk Away From Drugs” Wear mismatched shoes.

In addition, we will be collecting donations for the New Albany- Floyd County Youth Shelter as a way of helping others whose lives may be affected by drug abuse.  Please send donations in with your child by Friday, October 26th.  We are collecting school supplies, art supplies, and games for them.

We hope that you will join us in our efforts to keep all children healthy and drug-free.  Thank you for your participation and generous donations.
